9 weeks

The first is our new baby and the second is Lily at 9 weeks. The new baby is a little chubby in the gut compared to Lily. Otherwise, I can totally see the sibling resemblance!

So sorry for the radio silence for what seems like FOREVER. Now is a good time to explain why:

This is the gummy bear coming to join our family in August that has caused me so much trouble for the last 15 weeks! I'm bummed that I haven't been up to posting because Lily is at SUCH a fun age! There's so much to catch up on, so stay tuned for more! Wahoo!

James' 30th!

I know this is super old, but last month James turned 30 and to celebrate we threw him a surprise party! He said he'd never been actually surprised until this time. Woohoo!!

This is post-surprise, but just as we got there.

I openly admit the few pictures we got were lame. But, we had pumpkin cheesecake and that's worth remembering. James loves pumpkin cheesecake.

Some hardcore friends stayed and played games with James. He is a diehard gamer.

After I change Lily's diaper each morning, she takes off her jammies and this is what happens.

Traveling, which requires James to take a grumpy Lily into his bed.

Mom is able to put Lily's hair in her first ponytail! Love those eyelashes!

Little Mozart

Lily has always loved music. She leads the music with the chorister in church, she listens to primary songs to go to sleep at night and she even dances to the interlude music on NPR. So, I shouldn't have been surprised when she discovered her LOVE and OBSESSION for "playing" the piano.

This lady doesn't just push on a few keys. She's up and down the piano, soft, hard, fast, slow. She loves it. She asks to play SEVERAL times a day. She's very focused and often gets quite into it.
